Quality of the science communication during the COVID-19 pandemic
François van Schalkwyk presented the first of four papers produced from the NRF Chair in Science Communication’s research project on the quality of the science communication during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The presentation was titled ‘The reporting of preprints in the South African media during the COVID-19 pandemic’.
The presentation informed the article subsequenty published in the Public Understanding of Science (co-authored by Francois and his colleague from CWTS, Jonathan Dudek).
