The Chair is partnered with the Jozi Bee Hotel Project (JBHP) to explore the communications aspects of the citizen science project.
JBHP is a collaboration between Wits University and Tutus Loco Bee Hotels.
The Project focused on Goal 11 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in creating inclusive and sustainable cities, where inhabitants have access to urban biodiversity.
Our work analysed how the JBHP used science communication to inform various publics about its work and to engage citizen participation. The full publication can be accessed here.
