The South African Research Chair in Science Communication at Stellenbosch University invites you to the launch of Dr Lucy Draper-Clarke’s book, The Compassionate Activist, which explores the theory and practice of compassionate activism. Or PhD Fellow, Taryn Mackay, will offer her reflections on the book. The seminar also launches a new SciCom project which investigates the role of compassion and care in science communication.
