Imidibaniso is the social media identity of the Chair on all social media platforms.
Imidibaniso is the isiXhosa word for connections or interfaces. The Chair has established Imidibaniso as a space for discussion on issues-driven science communication research and practice; essentially, bringing together (ukudibanisa) different fields of science research and citizen engagement.
Imidibaniso is available to provide strategic science communication consultation and services to publicly funded researchers, research units based at universities and research organisations who may require such support for their research projects. We also offer an annual one-day workshop where we provide a crash course into the tools that scientists and researchers can use in sharing and communicating their research.
